This statement discloses the privacy practices for
Metrikus , Inc. (‘Metrikus”) and its associated Web
sites (www.metrikus.com). As part of the normal
operation of these sites, we collect and, in some cases,
disclose information about you. This Privacy Policy
describes the information we collect about you and what
may happen to that information
We may ask for specific Personally Identifiable
Information about you when you sign up for Metrikus
products or services and when you register for the use
of the hosted version of Metrikus’s software suite. For
example, we will ask for contact and billing
information, super-user account information, system
information, etc. We may also ask you for information
about your interests, preferences and future needs, so
that we can improve our services.
If you have signed a Metrikus Product/Service Agreement,
you may request access to your account and information
related thereto. As part of the process of giving you
access to your account, we may request information that
identifies you as a customer, such as your password
and/or login information. Metrikus’s software encrypts
all such customer-identifying information provided to
us. We recommend that you not divulge your password to
anyone, since you are responsible for any activities
undertaken through the use of your password access,
whether by you or by someone else.
We may use a “cookie” to enable you to navigate through
the restricted area. In order to improve our site, we
use cookies to track your visit and to facilitate your
movements within our site. A cookie is small amount of
data that is stored by your browser on your computer's
hard drive.
When you visit the Metrikus Web site (http://www.metrikus.com)
and engage in certain activities, Metrikus may request
certain personally identifying information about you.
For example, when you request information about Metrikus
products/services, Metrikus may ask you to provide
certain information about yourself such as your name,
address and company. Metrikus may use this information
to respond to your request, and keep you informed about
new or existing service availability or improvements,
special offers, and other information about Metrikus
products/services. Metrikus may monitor and aggregate
visitor traffic pattern data, and may use and disclose
such aggregate information to third parties to help
develop the design and layout of the Web site, and for
other business reasons. This aggregated information does
not personally identify you.
Metrikus uses state-of-the-art, commercially available
technology to protect against unauthorized access to any
Personally Identifiable Information that is stored
electronically by Metrikus.
Metrikus may disclose Personally Identifiable
Information if required to do so by law or in the
good-faith belief that such action is necessary to
prevent injury or property damage. We will usually
attempt to notify you when we are making such a
disclosure, but we may not do so in an emergency, or
when we are prohibited by law or court order from giving
such notice.
From time to time, we provide information to our
customers in the form of electronic and/or print
newsletters. When you subscribe to a Metrikus
newsletter, you will be added to our mailing list and
will receive announcements and information about
Metrikus. The announcements and information will come
from Metrikus, not from third parties. It will be
emailed directly to the email address that you provide
when you subscribe. To subscribe to Metrikus
newsletters, we ask for your full name, company name and
email address. If you no longer wish to receive
newsletters from us in the future, please let us know.
Just send an email to newsletter@metrikus.com with
'unsubscribe' in the body, or follow the "UNSUBSCRIBE"
instructions that will be contained within any
newsletter email that we send to you.
You can help Metrikus to maintain the accuracy of your
information by notifying us of any change to your
subscription information. You can notify us by sending
